Legacy Village at Plantation Manor Welcomes Cynthia Swaim as Executive Director
Thomasville, Ga. (June 2026) — Legacy Village at Plantation Manor is pleased to welcome Cynthia Swaim to their team as Executive Director. With a strong background in administration and senior services, Swaim is passionate about building high-performance teams, fostering meaningful relationships with residents and families and ensuring the highest standards of care and service.
Swaim grew up in San Antonio, TX, but she shortly began traveling with her military husband and growing family. She attended a number of colleges as her family moved from post to post, but she eventually was able to attain degrees in Business and Psychology. Swaim held a number of positions in Accounting and Administration for 30+ years until taking her first position in the senior living industry as a Business Office Manager and Executive Director. She brings with her extensive experience a dedication to excellence and leading communities through growth. Swaim is driven to create a supportive, compassionate environment where residents can thrive while maintaining their independence and quality of life.

Outside of work, Swaim has been married for 20 years and is a mother to two grown children and grandmother to four grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren in which she has been an active part in educating on the importance of community evolvement. She can also be found gardening, crafting and painting.
